Sixteen Mile Creek - Northern Link

The Oakville Heritage Northern Link Trails pass through areas of unsurpassable natural beauty where wildlife still abounds, where human activity has had little impact, or where nature has recovered after human use has ceased or changed. They reconnect us to nature, reminding us that we are part of nature, not separate from it. Lake, creek, watershed, upland, woodland and meadow; air, land, water-we depend on them all.

Trail guides available at the Town Hall or at Oakville Public Library branches provide more detailed trail maps. In one section of the Northern Trails the guides use numbered posts to introduce you to little things along the way that you may not have noticed before.
